The miracle of Zoe Valentina: when love and faith overcome diagnosis

When Zoe Valentina was just six months old, her parents began to notice something strange: small episodes that they did not understand, but which turned out to be seizures. After several consultations and a resonance, devastating news arrived: Zoe had a large brain tumor and had to be operated on as an emergency.

The doctors were clear: her life expectancy was only three or four months. However, her family decided not to give up. “We are going for a miracle,” was the phrase that her father, Fernando, repeated with force and conviction. And that miracle arrived.

Two and a half years later, Zoe is still alive. Her story is a testament to the power of love, faith, and the tireless struggle of those who refuse to accept an unfair destiny. It is also a reminder of why we at Vidawasi work every day: to provide hope, care, and support to more families facing complex diseases.

Every child deserves the opportunity to live, smile, and continue growing.
